We came to the sales department office, which is located near the construction site, with my whole family. I thought my daughter would get bored while we were processing the documents, so I grabbed a tablet for her. It turned out, there is a whole room for children there! My daughter and I got so carried away that my husband had to come get me to sign the contract.
My daughter even asks that now, the walls in her room need to be pasted with the same wallpaper as in the children's corner. It upsets her, when I say that we will get our flat with a full finishing, although my husband and I are, of course, very happy about it. We agreed that we would order a stencil with foxes and apply it on the walls ourselves. We chose the lightest finishing possible. I already have an approximate image of each room in my head and know what and in which store I will buy. My husband jokes that I enjoy new furniture more than a new flat.
On the weekend, before the transaction was finalised, we were in St. Petersburg. It was interesting for us to see which quarters of the “Svetliy mir” were built there and how people lived. The staff of the local office gave us a tour. I liked everything very much, especially playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment. The courtyards are so spacious, green, with a private café and a whole centre for the neighbours. Now, the anticipation of moving to a new flat is even more joyful because we already know what beauty awaits us ahead!
