People don't really like to make choices. Sometimes you need to be in a stalemate to finally make a decision. Same was with my husband and I when the owner of a rented apartment evicted us in three days.
A variety of prospects were open to us: return to our parents, pay to a new landlord, escape on a trip or decide on a mortgage. The latter option seemed to us bold and responsible.
We are not fans of old houses and a cramped centre, so we chose an affordable area where there are more recent and new constructions. Our quarter “Svetliy mir “Ya-Romantik” is exactly like that.
As it turned out, the sum we needed for the first instalment was not as big. Friends helped, and we ourselves had a financial pillow, which came in handy.
And when we moved in, we made another important decision – to become parents.
Especially because the place for the first years of life with a baby was excellent. The playgrounds are cool, there is a Neighbourhood centre where you can leave the baby under the supervision of a teacher while mum attends cooking or dancing courses. Pharmacies and grocery stores are within walking distance and, most importantly, a kindergarten in the yard. When should we live, if not now?
