We bought a flat for our daughter. This year she entered a university at the Faculty of Journalism. We planned her move in advance, studied the market for a long time, looked at many houses and apartments. As a result, we chose the residential complex “Svetliy mir “Ya-Romantik…”.
Firstly, her faculty is also located on Vasilievsky Island. There are several buses and minibuses going in that direction, so she can get there quickly. Secondly, we considered only new buildings, as we have heard about problems with water and light in old houses. That doesn't happen here. And, thirdly, what is the most important thing for a journalist? That's right, inspiration! And from my daughter's flat, the view that opens from the 17th floor is so stunning that even I want to paint pictures. What can we say about a young and enthusiastic girl who has been dreaming of St. Petersburg since childhood?
It is important for my husband and I that my daughter is safe. Therefore, we are very glad that the territory of the complex is closed, and strangers do not come here. Cameras are installed on the houses and in elevators, too. There is a cafe and a restaurant. I am calm when I know that my child does not go hungry.
Alice also attends sports classes at the Neighbourhood Centre. We immediately purchased a membership for her. She does not need to spend precious student’s hours on the road, since the centre is located in the neighbouring house.
My husband and I are glad that we found such a good option. More and more often we think that we need to move to St. Petersburg. It's nice to say, "let's go home" and imagine ourselves in this wonderful complex.
