From Saint Petersburg to Moscow and back

We live with my husband and child in the "Romatik" for only a year. I bought this flat at the excavation stage a few years ago. For myself.

While it was being built, I managed to get married, lived in Moscow, had a baby, and returned to St. Petersburg. After all, there was a calmer and more measured life there. That's how I moved into my (now ours!) flat years later and in a different status ever since.

I wanted to live near the centre. Vasilievsky Island is ideal in this regard – it seems like a rather separate island, while everything is nearby. I also like yards without cars. Last but not least, of course, initially the choice was influenced by the cost at the start! At that time, no project in the city could boast of similar prices.

After a year of living in the "Romantik", I can say that we really feel good here. Here I feel protected and understand that when the child grows up, I will be able to let him go for a walk alone. In the yards we have nice playgrounds made of natural materials. Both toddlers like ours and older children have fun there.

Most of all I am glad of the great view from the window! Our windows overlook the yard and partially the "Lakhta Centre". I really like the terraces on the first floors. I enjoy that our quarter is independent if that's how we can talk about residential buildings. I go for a manicure to a girl from a neighbouring house, sometimes we order lunches from Cruise Apart, regularly buy coffee in the "Svetloe Cafe", and use the professional services of other residents. Among the neighbours you can find a plumber, a tiler, a seamstress, a hairdresser... Yes, anyone! It makes life a lot easier.
