I've been living on Vasilievsky Island for a little over a year. I moved to an already inhabited and fully built quarter. Immediately I started using everything that was provided on our large territory: grocery stores, pharmacy, and café with pastries.
I joined the residents' chat, so I know who I can contact in case I need to assemble new furniture or clean the flat. We even have a special carer for pets. The lady attends the cats, while their owners go on holiday. She gets along great with the fluffy creatures.
Many complain that the winds are constantly blowing on Vasilievsky Island. I, on the opposite, like it. It's always fresh here. It even smells of the sea if the wind blows from the gulf.
Our cosy quarter is a city within a city. There is everything for a comfortable life of a modern person. On weekends, I prefer to stay at home to walk around the yards, relax on the swings, or look into the Neighbourhood centre. Besides, dinner at the restaurant “Khoroshiye lyudi romantiki” has already become my tradition.
