The day when I got the keys to my flat on Vasilievsky Island was the happiest. Until this winter. Because this winter, I met Masha.
I'm not the most sociable guy, so I didn't know what to expect from moving to a big block. I imagined that the residents would rush about their business, immersed into their phones. It turned out there are many places where neighbours spend their free time together.
I really like our panoramic-view restaurant with an excellent menu, there is a coworking, creative workshops, a training room, and a mini-cinema. Masha and I used to always buy coffee at the same time in the morning in our “Svetloe Café” in the courtyard. That's how we met.
I have a studio flat, which I'm very satisfied with. I took out a small mortgage loan, which I'll withdraw it in a few years. Masha is still living with her parents. We are in no hurry to move in, but we spend almost all days of the week together.
I have already seen that in the secondary housing market, real estate in our quarter is worth good money. Yet today, I will be able to make money on selling my flat. But honestly, I don't want to leave. I like new houses, outdoor exercise equipment, shops on the first floors. Besides, young couples with children are very comfortable here. I hope we will experience it someday, too!
