In the Neighbourhood centre of the quarter “Svetliy mir “Ya-Romantik ...” a new sports section on judo HЁGOGYM opens recruitment of students.

Artur Panaitov's club invites boys and girls to group judo trainings. The name of the club is pronounced in Russian “hegogym”. It is a derivative of the Japanese Hyogo region, where Jigoro Kano, the creator of judo and the founder of the Kodokan school, was born.

Children can practice judo from the age of five. Its peculiarity is that initially, when developing the technique, Kano excluded dangerous moves, which might lead to injuries. Regular training sessions will help the students strengthen their overall physical fitness, while the skills and experience will suffice for future participation in competitions. 

The judo group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m., and on Saturdays at 1 p.m.
